Not too far away from South Beach, this luxury hotel is on Collins Avenue. It’s the home to the famous club LIV, Hakassan restaurant, Scarpetta, and Michael Mina 74 which serves some pretty damn good cocktails!
Staff throughout the resort including the restaurants are friendly and efficient, and the team at the reception and concierge were incredibly helpful.
This is the only place to stay in Miami, it has been around since 1954 and shows off the Miami grandeur and glamour. Beaches, pools, gorgeous rooms and restaurants fill this huge resort and it is simply beautiful.. AND it is on the beach. Water sports are available on the beach and I had a great time on the jet skis!
The hotel rooms are big and grand and we had a gorgeous view of the pool below. There are a few large hot tubs as well where you can drink champagne and enjoy the heat- and then jump into the swimming pool to break the heat.
You can hire private cabanas of different sizes around the pool and beach area with bottle service if you’re ready to start the party early. Before you head out or go to LIV it’s worth checking out the other restaurants here as well!
Hakassan here is just as beautiful, and just as tasty as Hakassan London! This is a true 5* hotel and this restaurant has great service as well. It’s a great ambiance and I’d recommend it for your last night as something special.
Scarpetta is a lovely Italian restaurant, and a great place to eat, drink and enjoy an evening before hitting any bars/clubs in SoBe.
Michael Mina 74 has a brilliant ‘social hour’ and the American Food is a more casual meal- I didn’t eat here but it looked great! Instead I sat here and drank far too many cocktails. The mixologists were very knowledgeable and friendly- before I knew it I had finished a few more drinks then I had planned and I was now late for my dinner at Hakassan!
Breakfast in Vida was delicious, I enjoyed a true American breakfast with waffles, pancakes and I also had delicious eggs and pastries the few days I had here.
The poolside La Cote had great snacks and drinks.. I didn’t try the sushi at Blade but it looked great- although maybe slightly limited for veggies. Chez BonBon had a delicious cookie that I gobbled up, and the ice cream at Fresh was family friendly and a nice way to take a break from the Miami heat!
Club LIV is where you might rub elbows with the likes of Justin Beiber- this place is crazy! Book your table so you can be assured to get in! This isn’t a cheap place so dress to impress- it is a great but expensive night out!
The gorgeous hotel foyer with chandeliers, round seating and soft blue lighting has a pre party buzz on weekend nights- this hotel is truly special! I just love the opulence and glamour- and it doesn’t have an air of arrogance, just friendly people who are ready to spend their money in exchange for a brilliant time.
I really recommend everyone to visit this hotel. The Lapis spa is gorgeous and the rain water room was the highlight for me there. The massages are brilliant and the chill out rooms ensure you break away and relax. Plenty of good views from here too! I spent half a day here before leaving and taking my flight home.
I really hope you try out this hotel, I’d love to hear about your experience!
