If you are crazy enough to have not finished off your easter eggs then here is a quick idea to impress the little ones! My niece filled my egg shell! Don’t bother measuring it out, it’s always going to taste delicious just use up whatever you have in the back of your freezer.
Tip: add a little milk at a time until you get your desired texture, the more milk the less thick the texture.
A dash of milk/custard/condensed milk/ heavy cream
1. Add the ice cream and some milk into a beaker. The more milk you add the lighter the texture of the milkshake. You can also add cream, custard, condensed milk- whatever you want to get rid of!
2. Break up some Easter eggs, in my case I added some creme egg minis and some milk choc eggs as well- add some into the mixture and keep some to decorate/add into the liquid at the end to keep a bitty texture.
3. I used my Bamix hand blender- the Bamix Mono to best up the liquid. Once it became a smooth even liquid all over I was ready to serve.
4. In a tall glass you can squirt some chocolate sauce onto the sides of the glass to make it look more interesting. OR you can use half a chocolate easter egg shell like a bowl and fill it up with liquid. I cut a spooned straw to size and topped up with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
